2018

During 2017 I lost half of my sight, resulting in a deep reflective period of sensory exploration. My focus remained drifting between language (reading, writing, listening, responding) and the physicality of being in a space. The agency and lively capacity of things became a concentration, this led to reflecting and becoming more sensitive to the parameters of the self, and my adjustment to life and practice (which are essentially the same thing).

‘a void that separates us / also connects us’
A moment to celebrate the connection between humans and non-humans, and how the air ties us together and binds us in a mutual contract, shifting between us, within us, around us in our lively state of being.
